Document Storage - Confidential Destruction

When you store your files with us, you may choose to set an End-of-Life
review date for each box, or each individual file.
Because our primary objectives are to provide you with an excellent
service, as this End of Life review date is reached, we will notify
you and request your instructions for what action you wish to be
taken next. This will allow you to keep your offsite storage boxes
under control and constantly monitored and help you comply with
the Data Protection Act.
There are several options available to you at this time :
Files/Boxes can be returned to you
- We will return the files or entire boxes approaching their end
of life to you using our next day courier service. No further storage
charges will be accrued against these files or boxes, and your document
record will be updated. Handling & delivery charges apply.
Files/Boxes can be
destroyed by us - On your written authority only,
we will destroy by shredding the files or entire boxes approaching
their end of life, and issue you with a 'certificate of destruction'
as proof that these files/boxes have been completely destroyed.
No further storage charges will be accrued against these files or
boxes, and your document record will be updated.
Files/Boxes can be
stored for longer - You may choose to extend the
end-of-life date further, in which case no further action is required
until the new date is again approached.
